Mighty Buildings was on the verge of launching a new house model. The management recognized the need to revamp their processes, with a focus on improving adaptability and fostering innovation. The new service also required a deeper understanding of progress towards product goals.
We examined the work processes of ten product owners and delved into their product backlogs. This analysis revealed numerous dependencies between teams, as well as high levels of sprint utilization and a lack of responsiveness from other teams.
To address this issue, we collaborated with management to establish goals and initiated the transformation team. Together, we crafted a vision for the organization's future and conducted training across the entire company. Following this, we launched the team in a new configuration.
The company's product line expanded, moving from backyard studios to single-family homes. The product was customized, subjected to rigorous testing, and obtained certifications for three distinct markets, each with its unique requirements for wind load, fire resistance, and earthquake resilience. As a result of meeting traction goals, the company successfully secured 64 million USD in Series B funding. Mighty Buildings' technologies were further scaled to an industrial level, paving the way for the opening of production plants.
